Headmaster of the school –  Abdrashev Bakhtiyar Tolepbergenovich, born in 1972, graduated from the Kulyash Bayseitova Republican secondary specialized music boarding school for gifted children in 1990. From 1990 to 1992 he had served in compulsory military service. From 1992 to 1997 he studied at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. In 1999, he completed an assistant internship at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. From 2001 to 2004 he studied at the Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University, majoring in law (correspondence department).

He began his career in 1993 at the Zhambyl State Philharmonic as an artist of the State Brass Band. Since 2000, he moved to pedagogical work at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory as a teacher in the department of wind and percussion instruments of the orchestra. Since 2003, he was appointed as deputy dean of the orchestral department of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. In 2005, he was appointed as the dean of the Instrumental Performance Department of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

In 2014, he was appointed as the vice-rector of educational and social work at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

He was awarded with "Honored worker of the culture ", “ A. Baitursynov Silver Medal" and " For valiant labour " state medal,  also certified as "THE BEST MANAGER IN PROFESSIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION".

He is married and raising three children.
